Mission

The mission of AAECS, a model for arts-integrated education, supports all students attaining high academic achievement and artistic expression by enriching their standards-based elementary experience using a palette of arts-infused curriculum, as a foundation for their future growth.

Curriculum

Learning centers, part of our learning approach, are student centered, engaging activities that focus on a set of skills and deepen the students' knowledge. Students work alone, in pairs, or in small groups. Visit our Curriculum page to learn more.

Arts

All students participate in Art, Music, Dance, Theatre, Creative Movement and Library classes. Students have multiple opportunities to perform throughout the school year.

Celebrating nearly 3 years of partnership with the Allentown Art Museum! Together, we’ve worked to develop and implement innovative curricula that inspire our students, empower our teachers, and provide professional development opportunities for educators across the Lehigh Valley.
